ABOUT THE SOUTH CAROLINA PROPANE PROVIDERS

This website is designed to support and promote South Carolina’s community of propane providers.  The South Carolina roots of our member companies run deep— in many cases, such as Stringer Oil and Battle LP Gas Company. These businesses have been in the same family for generations.  They are pillars of their community not just because of the essential services and products they provide but also because of their willingness to support homes and businesses, especially when they are needed most.

Marketers have always been willing to go the extra mile, the personalized service and energy resources they provide are a vital part of our state’s economy.  The economic contributions they continue to provide to our state come in the form of providing great job opportunities in South Carolina, employing more than 1035 people.  It also comes from the fact that they have an impact far beyond their size as they support over $600,000 of economic activity in South Carolina, particularly in more rural areas, where propane may be the only affordable option for energy.  Additionally, our marketers are currently engaged in important initiatives to train the next generation of propane professionals while providing South Carolinians a greater opportunity to join our industry– with a focus on veterans.   For more information about our economic contributions to South Carolina click here.
